The first £30m phase of the UK Governments £315m Industrial Energy Transformation Fund opens for applications from 20th July 20. The scheme is designed to support the investment in large scale decarbonisation projects, feasibility and engineering studies, with grants from 30% to 65%, dependent on company size and plant location.
Between July 20th and 28th October 20 the competition is open for feasibility studies grants above £60,000 and minimum project awards of £250,000. The scope of projects is eligible for industrial processes with waste heat to recover for electricity generation.
