Welcome to Heatcatcher

Supporting your Heat Decarbonisation journey.

Waste heat a valuable resource, if you know how to recover and reuse it!

Our Heat Recovery Engineers quantify the amount of heat recoverable for the best available conversion technology. Manufacturing industries recover high temperature waste heat to preheat combustion air and feedstocks but finding a value for low temperature waste heat is a problem as well as a business opportunity.

Converting the low temperature heat to high temperature hot water above 70 °C with High Temperature Heat Pumps (HTHP) for your process, washing or space heating, significantly reduces your carbon emissions from burning gas.

When waste heat temperatures are above 80°C conversion to low carbon electricity with Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) reduces your grid demand for electricity and associated carbon emissions.

"Heatcatcher supported Pilkington Technology Management Ltd with a successful application for the Industrial Heat Recovery Support funding scheme. Our team enjoyed working with Heatcatcher’s professional approach to quantify a solution for recovering the waste heat from our glass furnace exhaust to heat our factory space and reduce carbon emissions. We were very encouraged by the Feasibility Study outcomes." Chris Dye, Category Manager for Renewable Energy, Pilkington NSG
