Business Energy and Industrial Strategy Department releases the long-awaited application details for the Industrial Heat Support (IHRS) programme. A pot of £18m of grant funding available to support the uptake of industrial heat recovery projects. For feasibility and design, maximum grants of up to £450,000 of the £6m available and for the delivery of projects capital expenditure grants of up to £1,500,000 of the £12m pot.
The programme is open for applications from 28th December 18, running bi-monthly competitive review windows, through to the final window from 30th September 19.
Projects must be completed by 31st March 2021 although metering and verification periods of up to 12 months can follow this deadline date.
